Natural hair is divided into sections, and then the hair weave is bonded (glued) to the root section of the hair. The bonded weave lasts at least 1 month. This type of application is much less labor intensive than the strand-by-strand method therefore costs considerably less. 
Lastly, William Collier Design now offers Clip-in extensions. These are a great alternative if you want to have longer-thicker hair only some of the time or if you are concerned about the cost of regular hair extensions.  If your hair is very fine, the clips may cause hair loss. They are best if used only occasionally.
