Their quality control regimen requires eight steps by thirty highly-skilled people. They employ Section Chiefs to oversee each step and everyone from their CEO to their receptionist knows, respects, and LOVES hair.
Follea has had the pleasure of meeting many accomplished, smart and beautiful women who have little or no hair of their own. Some of them are Hair Replacement Specialist business owners. They are out there to help “Alopecian’s” like you overcome the challenge of living without hair in a very beautiful, natural way.
The “Gripper Quest” started nearly 2 years ago when they learned that 5 of these owners, and many of their clients, were also Follea hair wearers for a particular reason. They all suffer from Alopecia Totalis, or Universalis. These severest forms of the auto-immune condition Alopecia Areata leave the afflicted person with either no hair on their head, or no hair anywhere on their body.
So started a very personal research program, quickly followed by a series of prototype developments to create a comfortable, secure, light, breathable, natural, beautiful, affordable, (perfect?) next generation wig for women with no hair. The owners/wearers who participated in the market research have all given the new “Gripper Cool” – Follea’s new in-stock Gripper Product Line – 2 thumbs up. They have also now switched to Gripper themselves.
Follea offers, usually immediately available, the “Gripper Cool” in 9 colors and 3 cap sizes. *See below for the hair lengths available. They also make to order the other Gripper types: Gripper Sport; Gripper Active & Gripper Luxe. Any of Follea’s Luxury or Lifestyle wigs came be made with the Gripper Cap Construction for an additional charge.

It is available in a choice of 9 beautiful colors, that can also be professionally highlighted if you choose. With Follea you can recreate your “best hair day” every day. Follea hair can be shampooed and conditioned, styled and restyled, just like hair that grows from the scalp.
Gripper Cool comes with a small open lace front, so that you can create that beautiful natural hairline look – even with an up-do. *The hair lengths and styles come in two layered styles at this time: 8” (with an overall length of 13”) and 12” (with an overall length of 17”). Soon to come will be 6” and 14” layered styles.
The silicon that Follea uses to create the “Gripper Performance” is the highest (most expensive) medical grade silicon available. All you need to do to maintain that performance is to wipe the silicon areas with a damp mildy-soapy wash cloth once daily. Do no use chemical or alchohol for cleaning purposes.
The Follea Gripper is a lightweight solution to the Vacuum Fit Prosthesis.
