Kid Story: I'm very proud of both of my children; Briana has found her passion and is a successful local pastry chef; and my favorite Aaron story is when he was 7 years old and on Mother's Day he very matter-of-factly said "Mom, you're fat." Having a big breakfast already prepared--eggs benedict & fresh squeezed orange juice; then meeting friends for a ride on our motorcycles along a back country road, stopping for coffee and having a chat. Later, changing into something nice, for an evening out for dinner and drinks with friends. My expertise is in cutting, and styling women's full head wigs, and partials, especially for clients whose wish is for a more fashion forward look. Children: I have one two year old daughter, Myliah Kid Story: I like to style Myliah's hair, and when I'm done she acts differently; she goes to the mirror to check herself out, then smiles and giggles. She is very opinionated and strong minded; her favorite word is "No!" She likes to put on her rain boots, coat & headband all by herself, then she walks around the house saying "bye, bye" (she's got places to go & people to meet). Favorite T.V. Experience/Background I have been licensed as a hair stylist for 30 years; I studied at Highline Beauty College here in Washington. I got into the hair replacement profession by accident. I was volunteering at Good Samaritan hospital at the Cancer Resource center. While there, I met the original owner of Master Hair, Sharon, she was the one who taught me how to fit and style wigs for the Cancer patients at Good Samaritan. Within the first year of volunteering at the hospital I was offered a job at Master Hair as a stylist apprentice. I worked there for a couple years and then I took some time off and pursued other interests but always found myself drawn to this profession and have come back home to my passion.
Service Philosophy My motto is “Every day is a great hair day!” No matter what kind of day you’re having, every day can be a great hair day!
Children I have two children, a son age, 19 and a daughter age 23
Funny kid story There was a time when we lived out in Graham in a custom log home on 5 acres my daughter decided she wanted to have chickens and bunnies - so she went into business for herself. She would take her baskets of chickies and bunnies to the local feed store and she was so adorable they would buy everything – she was a successful business girl at 9yrs old! My son’s best friend at the time was a pot bellied pig…named Hank who would follow him around everywhere. He in his cowboy hat, boots and popgun on his shoulder – what a picture they made! He was always going “Huntin”
Favorite T.V. shows Law and Order, CSI, I love murder mysteries, The Mentalist, The Closer, Holly Hunter Show
Favorite movies Peter Pan – the one with Robin Williams, Legends of the Fall, Shawhshank Redemption, Titanic, 500 Days of Summer, It’s a Wonderful Life, ELF
